About East Hartford Sportsmen's Association
East Hartford Sportsmen's Association, Inc., was established 1932. The purpose of the club is "to band together sportsmen interested in hunting and fishing; to promote legislation to improve hunting and fishing conditions; to cause a more plentiful supply and equal distribution of fish and game in the waters and forests of the state; to procure fish for our ponds and streams; and game for our shooting areas; to insist upon the observance of all our fish and game laws; and to do all in our power to cooperate with the landowners and see that their properties are protected against damage by any of the sportsmen privileged to hunt and fish on their land."
